Ikerbasque, together with EHU, organized a webinar on the ERC funding programme.

The European Research Council (ERC) supports projects aimed at developing novel, high-risk research at the frontiers of knowledge. Scientific excellence is the sole criterion for awarding grants, and the programme operates on a bottom-up basis, with no predetermined priorities.

The webinar was aimed at researchers and research managers in the Basque science system.

The session featured:

• - Leticia Riaza, ERC National Contact Point, FECYT.
• - Endika Bengoetxea, Research Programme Manager at the European Commission - European Research Council.
• - Marina Kalashnikova, recipient of an ERC Consolidator Grant and Ikerbasque Researcher at BCBL.
