Spin superfluidity, a phase-coherent regime of spin-angular-momentum transport in magnetic insulator, holds great promise for enabling next-generation, ultralow-loss spintronic technologies. However, clear experimental realization and control of spin superfluidity have been elusive, owing to the ubiquitous presence of damping, magnetic anisotropies, and parasitic interactions that destabilize its coherence. In this talk, I will introduce our recent findings of the experimental demonstration of a superfluid spin transport in the easy-plane van der Waals antiferromagnetic insulator CrCl3.
