The University of Deusto is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join the MORElab research group at DeustoTech within the Faculty of Engineering at the Bilbao campus. The selected candidate will contribute to research activities focused on mobile computing, internet technologies, and distributed systems. The position involves participation in interdisciplinary research projects addressing technological challenges related to digital systems and advanced computing environments. The researcher will collaborate with the research team in advancing scientific knowledge through research, project development, and dissemination of results in international scientific venues.

The selected candidate will join the MORElab research group at DeustoTech within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Deusto. The researcher will contribute to the development of research activities related to mobile computing, internet technologies, and distributed systems.
Research activities will involve the development and application of technologies related to networked systems, mobile and ubiquitous computing, and advanced internet-based applications. The candidate will collaborate with the research team in advancing research lines focused on the design, implementation, and evaluation of digital systems and distributed computing environments.
Responsibilities will include participating in the development and implementation of competitive research projects, contributing to scientific publications, and supporting the dissemination of research results through academic and scientific activities. The researcher will collaborate within interdisciplinary teams and contribute to the advancement of research initiatives developed by the MORElab group.
The position also involves participation in international research collaborations and contribution to project proposals and research dissemination activities associated with the group’s research lines.

Benefits:
• 3-year research contract at the University of Deusto
• Annual gross salary between €37,000 and €41,000 depending on the candidate’s experience, distributed in 15 monthly payments
• Contract under the associate researcher (investigador/a asociado/a) category
• Expected start date: 1 September 2026
