The selected candidate will join the Deusto for Knowledge (D4K) research group within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Deusto. The researcher will contribute to the development of research activities related to data science, artificial intelligence, and knowledge discovery from data.
Research work will focus on the analysis and extraction of knowledge from large and complex datasets through the application of advanced analytical and computational methods. The candidate will collaborate with the research team in advancing research lines related to data analytics, machine learning, and intelligent data-driven systems.
Responsibilities will include participating in the development and implementation of research projects related to data science and artificial intelligence, contributing to scientific publications, and supporting the dissemination of research results through academic and research activities. The researcher will collaborate within interdisciplinary teams and contribute to the advancement of the research initiatives carried out by the D4K group.
The position also involves participation in competitive research projects and collaboration with academic and institutional partners working on data-driven research challenges.

Benefits:
• 3-year research contract at the University of Deusto
• Annual gross salary between €37,000 and €41,000 depending on the candidate’s experience, distributed in 15 monthly payments
• Contract under the associate researcher (investigador/a asociado/a) category
• Expected start date: 1 September 2026
