The researcher will collaborate with the research team in advancing research lines, contributing to scientific publications, and participating in competitive research projects related to sustainable energy.

The selected candidate will join the Sustainable Energy research area within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Deusto. The researcher will contribute to the development of research activities focused on sustainable energy systems and the challenges associated with the energy transition.
Research work will address technological and systemic aspects of sustainable energy, including the development and analysis of innovative approaches to energy generation, management, and sustainability. The candidate will collaborate with the research team in advancing research lines related to energy systems and sustainable technologies.
Responsibilities will include participating in the development and implementation of research projects related to sustainable energy, contributing to scientific publications, and supporting the dissemination of research outcomes through academic and research activities. The researcher will work within interdisciplinary teams and contribute to the advancement of research initiatives in the Sustainable Energy area.
The position also involves participation in competitive research projects and collaboration with academic and institutional partners working on energy sustainability challenges.

Benefits:
• 3-year research contract at the University of Deusto
• Annual gross salary between €37,000 and €41,000 depending on the candidate’s experience, distributed in 15 monthly payments
• Contract under the associate researcher (investigador/a asociado/a) category
• Expected start date: 1 September 2026
