The researcher will collaborate with the research team in developing innovative solutions and disseminating scientific results through research publications and project activities.

The selected candidate will join the Smart Mobility research area within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Deusto. The researcher will contribute to research activities focused on intelligent mobility systems and sustainable transportation solutions.
Research work will address challenges related to mobility technologies, including the development and application of data-driven approaches for the analysis, modeling, and optimization of transportation systems. The candidate will collaborate with the research team in advancing research lines related to smart mobility and sustainable transport.
Responsibilities will include participating in the development and implementation of research projects related to mobility systems, contributing to scientific publications, and supporting the dissemination of research outcomes. The researcher will work in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to the advancement of research activities within the Smart Mobility research area.
The position also involves participation in competitive research projects and collaboration with academic and institutional partners in the development of innovative approaches to mobility and transport challenges.

Benefits:
• 3-year research contract at the University of Deusto
• Annual gross salary between €37,000 and €41,000 depending on the candidate’s experience, distributed in 15 monthly payments
• Contract under the associate researcher (investigador/a asociado/a) category
• Expected start date: 1 September 2026
