Job Summary

A PhD Fellowship is available to support the research activities in the context of the European project “Cross-border micro-supercapacitors for embedded electronics (TRANS-CAP )” in the group of Dr. Irune Villaluenga (POLYMAT-EHU, Spain) and with Dr. Valeria M. Blanco (ICMAB, Spain). The thesis project will be focused on the development and characterization of gel polymer materials for micro-supercapacitors, and it will be developed as a collaboration between the two groups.

Job Description

Applicants must have a BSc and MSc in Material Science, Polymer Chemistry or Electrochemistry. Those with experimental and communications skills, and enthusiasm for research and innovation to carry out a challenging 3-year research project are encouraged to apply. Successful candidate will be incorporated into a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
