NanoGUNE is a research center devoted to conducting world-class nanoscience research for a competitive growth of the Basque Country. NanoGUNE is a member of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance (BRTA) and is recognized by the Spanish Research Agency as a MarÃa de Maeztu Unit of Excellence.
We are looking for a technician to support the operations of our experimental physics laboratory. The position is offered in the Quantum-Probe Microscopy Group, led by Nacho Pascual (ji.pascual@nanogune.eu). Main tasks:
- Maintenance of vacuum and cryogenic equipment
- Automation and programming of measurement systems
- Design and repair of electronic components
- CAD design for experimental setups
- Logistical support during experimental measurements
The successful candidate will have:
- FP degree, Engineering degree or similar studies
- Excellent command of English
- Knowledge of electricity and analog electronics
- Proactive attitude towards learning new methods and acquiring knowledge
- Strong coordination skill and adaptability in an international environment
Although not compulsory, previous experience in the following points will be positively considered:
- 3D design and equipment maintenance
- Programming (Python, LabVIEW)
- Design and repair of electronic components
