Job Summary
The Bottom-up Cell Biology and Bioengineering Lab is searching for a research assistant or lab manager (at CIC biomaGUNE equal to the level of laboratory technician). You will help us with the basic operational tasks and assist lab members with the implementation of protein purification protocols. In this position you will gain a broad set of technical skills, and as a bonus work in a beautiful costal city.

Our group has expertise in bottom-up reconstitution in the fields of bacterial cell biology and host-pathogen interactions. We employ approaches covering advanced protein biochemistry and reconstitution on supported lipid membranes. To access molecular interactions, we use a range of surface-sensitive biophysical techniques and single-molecule tracking microscopy.
We are young and newly established group looking for excellent, highly motivated, and scientifically curious members. We are also highly committed to ensure that every team member receives individual support and training and enjoys their time in the lab.
For those who comply with the mobility requirement (cannot have resided or worked in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years prior to their recruitment), this position can be extended into a PhD project.
