Job Summary
We are currently accepting applications for the above mentioned position. This is a unique opportunity for highly motivated students, recently graduated from the university in Physics or related fields, to join one of DIPC’s high-profile research teams.
Job Description
We offer a PhD position to carry out cutting-edge research in the field of topological insulators, superconductivity, Moiré superlattices and novel 2D magnetic materials. The goal of this project is to study and control the emergence of new quantum states under creation of the Moire interface of topological/magnetic/superconducting 2D materials. The position will provide the candidate thorough scientific knowledge in an excellent research environment, and will combine experimental and theoretical approaches. The candidate will carry out an intensive research program based on synchrotron research (ARPES, XMCD) in large scale facilities (ALBA , ELETTRA, Diamond, etc.) will become an expert in several experimental techniques for the synthesis and structural, electronic and magnetic characterization of quantum heterostructures.
