Job Summary

A PhD position to work on the project Photoactivable Cardiovascular in vitro disease Models is offered. The aim is to develop dynamic in vitro 3D pulmonary and cardiovascular models.

Job Description

The research, which will be carried out at the Hybrid Biofunctional Laboratory (CIC biomaGUNE) under the supervision of Dr. Dorleta Jimenez de Aberasturi, revolves around the design of hybrid photoactivable bioinks, designed to display different stimuli that can mimic natural processes, thereby serving to fabricate dynamic 3D-printed pulmonary and cardiovascular models.


Required Education Level:

A Master degree in a relevant area of Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, Biotechnology, Biology/Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related areas is required. Experience in the fields of 3D printing, materials synthesis, 3D in vitro models and/or cell culture is highly desirable.
