CIC energiGUNE is recruiting a Senior research engineer to join the Cell Prototyping group and to contribute to transfer the disruptive knowledge generated in the center to the application in next-generation batteries.
Main job functions:
• Understand and adapt manufacturing parameters to integrate advanced materials into battery cell designs for the prototyping line.
• Work on the materials processing and scale up for the components of the cell.
• Electrode engineering and formulation.
• Cell components compatibility studies.
• Coordination of the team in different projects related to the assembly of laboratory cells (pouch and/or cylindrical) and their characterization.
• Assembly and electrochemical characterization of cell prototypes for technology validation.
• Coordinate the execution of projects making sure targets, timelines, objectives, milestones and deliverables are fulfilled.
• Contribute to the development of intellectual property towards industrialization
