Job Summary

CIC energiGUNE is looking for a Laboratory Technician to work in the General Analysis Characterization Unit.

Job Description

Job functions:
• Sample preparation for different analytical techniques, ensuring all safety guidelines are strictly followed and ensuring process traceability, always maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
• Development and implementation of new analysis methodologies ensuring quality parameters, ensuring the good condition of the equipment.
• Perform routine and non-routine tests and analyses using the appropriate technical equipment and instruments. Perform calibrations in the techniques that require it.
• Ensure compliance with analysis and report deadlines.
• Ensure all the material necessary for fluent work in the different analysis techniques, promoting improvements at laboratory level.

Specific Requirements

• Bachelor’s in chemistry, chemical engineering or occupational training in Laboratory Techniques, Quality Control or related fields.

• 2-3 years of experience in different analytical techniques, preferably in:
? Gas Chromatography (GC/MS, GC FID/BID)
? Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP/OES)
? Karl Fischer Analysis and other potentiometric, coulometric and volumetric titrations
? Helium Picnometer
? Particle size análisis by laser diffraction

• The following will be positively assessed:
? CHSNO Elemental Analysis
? Physical adsorption of gas (BET)
? Mercury Porosimeter
? Rheometer

• Good verbal skills in English.
