The candidate is expected to work on a project to lead the design and implementation of novel strategies for control and manipulation of guided quantum light fields in antiresonant
fibers in the group of Dr. Mikel Sanz at BCAM (theory) and in very close collaboration with the experimental group of Dr. David Novoa at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).

We are looking for a researcher, who will expectably be an experimentalist in quantum optics or a theoretician with strong background and interest in experimental science, will
work on the development of sophisticated fiber-based arrangements and techniques aimed at tailoring the properties of the guided light fields, and on implementing quantum communication and metrology protocols, funded by IKUR project - Quantum Technologies.

The position is for a postdoctoral contract of one year at the Basque Center of Applied Mathematics, but an extension will be possible.

Benefits

The gross annual salary of the Fellowship will be:
29.994€ - 36.420€ according to experience.
