Job Summary
he Molecular Oncology group at the Biogipuzkoa Health Research Institute is looking for a
postdoctoral researcher to join a multi-national and multi-disciplinary project to develop a novel
treatment for metastatic breast cancer.
Specifically, we are looking for a candidate with experience in murine metastatic models that can
develop the in vivo model for therapeutic testing. Additionally, we would like the candidate to take
an active role in developing advanced gene therapies including the development of CART models.
Job Location: Biogipuzkoa Health Research Institute (Donostia – San Sebastián).
Job Description
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Experimental design and implementation. Planning and development of experimental
procedures involving in vivo mouse models, primary cell culture and genetic manipulation as well
as general molecular biology techniques.
2. Data collection and analysis. Ability to produce and maintain data collections and data bases,
as well as analyse those data efficiently
3. Interdisciplinary collaboration. Close collaboration with team members and external
researchers to foster an interdisciplinary approach
4. Publication and communication. Drafting high-quality scientific papers, active participation in
conferences and presentation of research results to the scientific community and public.
