The Center for collaborative research in biomaterials, molecular imaging and regenerative medicine, CIC biomaGUNE, is seeking for a motivated, market-biased, person to lead an entrepreneurial project in the field of In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD).

Job Description

Leveraging on sound scientific results and secured public funding, the Biomolecular Nanotechnology Lab at CIC biomaGUNE leaded by Prof. Cortajarena is establishing a ground-breaking technology for the development of accurate, sensitive, and inexpensive detection assays based on novel nanosensors. Now, CIC biomaGUNE has endeavored to evaluate the viability of the business model and validate this technology to bring it to the market, and is looking for the right person to lead the transition from laboratory to clinical settings. With the support of the research team, the technology transfer staff of the center the incumbent will deploy business activities with the aims of increasing the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of the technology, validating the business model, and pursuing the market implementation thereof. Throughout the project the successful candidate is also expected to explore further funding sources, both public and private, and to lead the incorporation of the spinoff.
