Postdoc position (focus on biocatalytic oxidations under anaerobic conditions) is available at the CIC biomaGUNE in the Heterogeneous biocatalysis laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Fernando López Gallego and in collaboration with Prof. Salassa (DIPC). Job Description

The project aims at developing new self-sufficient heterogeneous biocatalysts to perform biooxidations in the absence of oxygen. The candidate will work in an interdisciplinary and international environment to immobilise chemo and biocatalysts on solid materials for their implementation into synthetic processes. This interdisciplinary project will involve tasks in surface chemistry, biocatalysis and process intensification. Besides the experimental work, the candidate will be trained in technology validation and competitiveness (using LCA tools), intellectual property and market explotation. This project will be supervised by Prof. López-Gallego (Heterogeneous Biocatalysis laboratory) from the CIC biomaGUNE
