Project Manager Officer

Job Summary

A Project Manager Officer position is available to the Project Management Office team. The appointed person will be responsible for the successful management and implementation of ongoing projects at CIC biomaGUNE and in particular, will be in charge of the management of the European e-Prot Consortium composed of 7 European Organizations.

Job Description

The post holder will work closely with the R & D & I Management Unit of CIC biomaGUNE (research grants and technology transfer units), Human Resources, Financial Management, and Direction Units.

Main duties and responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:

Project management:
Responsible for ongoing project monitoring as well as strategic planning ensuring that reports, deliverables, and milestones are completed on time and with high-quality
Report preparation and tracking of scientific production: Coordinating and contributing to the writing of technical and financial reports, scientific deliverables, and other project-related documentation.
Financial management of projects: ensure correct financial reporting and updated tracking of the project resources.
Organizing project events, meetings, workshops, and other activities.
Managing the content of the project websites, social media and ensuring dissemination of project results to the scientific community, relevant stakeholders, and the general public.
Overseeing science-related aspects such as Open Science, ethics, and innovation: elaboration of Data Management Plans, Innovation Radar Questionnaires
Liaising with CIC biomaGUNE support areas other (HR, Finance, Tech Transfer and Communication) for the daily running of research projects.

Human Resources: supportting job offer preparation, selection, and recruitment process for ongoing projects.
Financial management of projects: Maximizing the outcome of ongoing projects within the available budget.

Funding: Identifing new project opportunities (covering both national and international competitive calls, from public and private funding institutions) for the research lines assigned.

Project formulation: Pre-evaluating proposals to maximize success. Supporting the definition of project goals, advising on project partners, budget preparation, and providing support on proposal writing and submission.
