Job Summary
CIC energiGUNE is seeking for a postdoctoral researcher to develop and apply solid state NMR in the characterization of electrode-electrolyte interphases and material degradation processes. In this research, ex-situ and operando solid state NMR techniques will be carried out in order to directly follow the impact of electrochemical cycling on the interphases of Lithium batteries. This work will also include the liquid state NMR investigation of postmortem samples.
Job Description
Main functions:
Perform electrochemical characterization and analysis of Li-ion cells.
In situ cell assembly and NMR testing.
Analysis of solid and liquid state NMR data.
Writing technical reports and scientific publications and participation in national and international conferences.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INSTITUTION:
CIC energiGUNE is a research center specialized in energy, electrochemical energy storage (batteries and supercapacitors), thermal energy solutions and hydrogen, a member of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance- BRTA, and a strategic initiative of the Basque Government.
