Postdoctoral position in Epitope design and selection

Job Summary

A postdoctoral position is available in the area of enginnering epitopes at the Biomolecular Nanotechnology group, led by Prof. Aitziber L. Cortajarena at CICbiomaGUNE, San sebastian, Spain. The project, aims to design of libraries and utilize combinatorial and screening approaches for epitope engineering.

Job Description

The project will be carried out at CIC biomaGUNE and the selected candidate will primaraly focus on the design and screen of protein libraries for the selection and characterization of epitopes for specific antibody recognition.

Required Education Level:

Candidates should have a PhD degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biophysics, or a related discipline.


Required Skills/Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate with a solid background in protein chemistry, protein engineering, molecular biology, combinatorial approaches, microfluidics, nanobiotechnology, and/or chemical biology, or have equivalent experience. The candidate is expected to have interest in multidisciplinary work, and the capacity to work in an international environment. Excellent interpersonal skills as well as written and oral communication skills in English are required.
