Job Summary
A PhD Fellowship in Materials Chemistry is available in the group of Dr. Danila Merino at the Basque Center for Macromolecular Design and Engineering, POLYMAT Fundazioa (www.polymat.eu).
Job Description
Applicants must have a university or master’s degree in chemistry, engineering, biochemistry, or equivalent with proven research experience in preparing and characterizing sustainable materials for agricultural applications, that is, the development of biocomposites following the circular economy and green chemistry principles for the protection/improvement of soil, crops, and food.
Good command of written and spoken English is a must! (If preselected, a telephone interview will be carried out before any other appointment is made). The selected candidate is expected to conduct research, and write reports, and papers.
