Applications are invited for a multidisciplinary post-doctoral position at the Carbon Bionanotechnology lab at CIC biomaGUNE to develop innovative analytical platforms based on graphene field effect transistors for the ultrasensitive detection of pathogenic viruses

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and independent researcher with a strong background in electrochemistry and biosensors design. Previous experiences with transistors, nanotechnology and material science will be positively evaluated. The candidate will be involved in the chemical modification and in the physicochemical characterization of the transistors. Furthermore he/she will evaluate of the analytical performances of the platform and their application in real samples.

Required Education Level:

Ph.D. in Chemistry/Chemical Sciences


Required Skills/Qualifications:

- Experienced researcher
- Solid background in electrochemistry

- Solid background in biosensors
- Experience with carbon nanomaterials is preferred.
- Experience with Material Science is preferred

- Experience with transistor is preferred
- Proficiency in English, spoken and written.
