The Laboratory of Brain Circuits Therapeutics is seeking for one postdoctoral researcher (R2, R3) in systems neuroscience towards genetic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). The major research responsibility of the postdoctoral fellow will be gene expression and iron content determination in fixed brain slices using different methods in collaboration with experts in the field.
The selected candidate will be required to work with colleagues on magnetic resonance imaging in CIC biomaGUNE for data acquisition and analysis, this requires commuting from the headquarters of ACHUCARRO in Leioa, to CIC biomaGUNE (Donostia - San Sebastian) periodically. The candidate should be skilled in both animal experimentation and data analysis routines.
This contract will be funded by the IKUR Strategy (Project IA-GEMI) of the Basque Government and has a duration of 3 years. The performance of the project and the project's team is subject to evaluation, if the results do not comply with the expected impact, the duration could be reduced. The gross annual salary will be 33.400 euros.
