Research Technician

Job Summary

A Research Technician position is available to strengthen the research services team of HYLEZITEK SL, an affiliate company 100% owned by CIC biomaGUNE located in the Gipuzkoa Technology Park in San Sebastián.

Job Description

The appointed person will be responsible in collaboration with CIC biomaGUNE research services team to conduct radiochemical reactions, in vitro experiments and animal studies, the latter including but not limited to generation of animal models, administration of treatments or radiotracers, and imaging studies.

The candidate will join a customer service line focused on preparation of radiotracers and their preclinical evaluation both in cell lines and in animal models.

Functions to be developed:

Radiochemistry, including synthesis and purification of radiotracers and preparation of single doses for subsequent in vitro and in vivo studies.
Cell expansion and maintenance
In vitro studies, including binding, internalization, release, and toxicity assays
Generation of animal models (mice and rats), mainly subcutaneous tumor xenografts.
Administration of treatments, mostly by oral gavage, IP injection or tail vein injection
Imaging studies, including animal surveillance during acquisitions, image reconstruction and analysis.
Tissue extraction and analysis
