Postdoctorate researchers to work on engineering of materials and their integration in perovskite solar cells

Job Summary

We are looking for two post-doctorate level researchers in the area of materials engineering and emerging solar cells. The hired researchers will develop new semiconductors and their integration in perovskite solar cells. The work will be carried out at BCMaterials and will enjoy collaboration with the leading research groups. The starting date is as soon as possible, and for experienced researchers, competitive salaries will be paid and are at par with other EU scientific establishments.
The hired researchers will work on an EU- excellence project, on a one year duration contract.

Job Description

Skills and Requirements
A Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or Chemical engineering
• A very high level of motivation and independent thinking abilities
• Solid and demonstrated experience in solar cells fabrication and device engineering
• Good publications record as the first author in prestigious scientific journals
• Proficiency in English, good interpersonal, presentation skills, skills to work in a team, and the ability to meet deadlines are also required.

Work Program /Duties / Repsonsibilities
Two full-time post-doctorate positions exist for researchers within the research domain of emerging solar cells in a cutting-edge research group at BCMaterials. BCMaterials is an independent research centre, active in functional materials located in Leioa (near Bilbao) in the Basque Country, University of Basque Country.
The post-doctorate researchers will be responsible for laboratory experiments, fulfilling the project objectives, Interacting with collobrators, result dissemination. Writing reports, and scientific articles on the research results. For the successful candidates, the positions represent an excellent opportunity to develop both a collaborative and personal scientific research career, exploiting the capabilities of energy materials, semiconductors, and photovoltaics.
