Job Description

Basque Center for Applied Mathematics -BCAM offers a Research Technician position to work on the development and analysis of mathematical models to understand the dynamics of infectious diseases transmission and the impact of control measures. This project is to be carried out withing the BMTF project framework.

Additional Requirements

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• WordPress Knowledge
• Programming in HTML
• Programming in LaTeX
• Programming in C, MatLab or R
• Ability to clearly present and publish research outcomes in spoken (talks) and written (papers) form.
• Flexibility to work on different topics and participate in multiple activities carried out by the research team

 
Specific Requirements

Strong background in statistics
• Information Technology Background
• Knowledge of bio-statistics and experience in advanced programming are essential.
