Job Summary
A Postdoctoral Fellowship in Macromolecular Science and Engineering is available at the Basque Center for Macromolecular Design and Engineering, POLYMAT Fundazioa, Catalysis and Sustainable Polymer Group (https://www.polymat.eu/en/groups/Catalysis-and-Sustainable-Polymers), under the direction of affiliated Professor Timothy E. Long (https://biodesign.asu.edu/timothy-long).
Job Description
Applicants must have a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Macromolecular Science and Engineering, Material Science and Engineering or Chemical Engineering with extensive and proven research experience in the synthesis, characterization, and processing of polymers.
Good command of written and spoken English is a must (if preselected, a telephone interview will be conducted before any other appointment is made). The selected candidate is expected to conduct laboratory research, write reports, and peer-reviewed manuscripts. The selected candidate will also assist in the leadership of the Long research group.
The position is a one-year position with the opportunity for renewal for a subsequent years depending on mutual interest.
